Restrooms are located in the park’s three public buildings and accessible during opening hours.
As a paradise for walkers, Mount Royal Park includes many entrances that are accessible on foot. Please note that all signage in Montréal, including Mount Royal Park, is French only.
It is possible to access Mount Royal Park on bicycle via the Du Parc entrance and Olmsted Path or the Peel entrance by way of Serpentine Path (chemin du Serpentin) that leads to Olmsted Path, which is reserved for pedestrians and cyclists. It is also possible to bike on the Camillien-Houde/Remembrance roadway to access the park. Note, however, that there is no reserved bike lane on this roadway that is used by cars and other vehicles.
There’s no shortage of ways to get to Mount Royal Park’s welcome centre using public transportation. The following bus lines travel to Mount Royal Park (please note that most STM bus routes are labelled in French):
There are two paid parking lots in Mount Royal Park. Please note that it is not possible to drive to the Mount Royal Chalet or Kondiaronk Belvedere. You can leave your car at the Smith House parking lot and enjoy a short five-minute walk to the Chalet and Belvedere.
The three public buildings located in Mount Royal Park—the Mount Royal Chalet, Beaver Lake Pavilion and Smith House—have entrances and amenities that are wheelchair friendly.
