Holiday Schedule in Mount Royal Park

Make the most of your time on the mountain by checking the opening hours of the public buildings, outdoor installations and visitor services before setting out.
This way, you’ll know whether you can lace up your skates in the Beaver Lake Pavilion or warm up in the Mount Royal Chalet.
The welcome desk at Smith House, gift shop and Café des Amis are open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except December 25 and January 1. Note that on December 24 and 31, the building will close at 4 p.m.
The Mount Royal Chalet is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, when it will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exceptionally, the Chalet will be closed to the public on January 6 all day.
The Beaver Lake Pavilion remains open to the public every day from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. to allow access to restrooms and lockers (locks not included). Note that on December 24, the pavilion will close at 4 p.m., and will close at 6 p.m. on December 25 and 31 and January 1.
Before setting off for Mount Royal, take a look at the opening hours of the snow-tubing lanes and refrigerated skating rink next to the Beaver Lake Pavilion and check the conditions of the outdoor installations to make the most of your visit!

- Les amis de la montagne welcomes parents and children on December 23 and 24, from December 27 to 31 and from January 3 to 5 for fun family activities, rallies and a drawing contest linked to the exhibition “In the Footsteps of our Discoverers - the Remarkable History of Montréal.” A very special day is planned on January 7 for all future artists! Hike up to the Chalet during the holidays!
