Just in time for the holidays, Les amis de la montagne is thrilled to present our brand-new website full of new content and new ways for Montrealers and visitors to enjoy Mount Royal. And what better way to do so than by giving our newsletter a fresh new look as well!  
 
For the past year, we have been working with HPJ Solutions to develop an online presence that is more attractive, more complete and especially more user-friendly. Our new and improved website and newsletter will be the toast of the town for mountain lovers this winter and all year long!
 

 

Here are some of the new features to discover in our website:

• Head over to Things to Do/Public Programming and select a category or peruse the list of activities on the mountain. Winter activities offered by Les amis de la montagne run the gamut from birdwatching and snowshoeing to cross-country skiing and skating under the stars. Our online registration and payment module allows you to register in a matter of minutes.
• The Plan Your Visit/Services section provides an overview of park amenities, such as outdoor equipment rentals, restrooms, restaurants and activity areas like the skating rink or tobogganing hills. It’s a quick and easy way to get all practical info you need to make the most of your time on the mountain.
• Before digging your skis or skates out of storage, check what’s open or closed in Mount Royal Park in our Conditions page. It presents a bird's-eye view of outdoor installations so that you know at a glance the current state of the skating rink, ski and snowshoe trails, sliding corridors, and walking paths.
• In the mood to explore? Our Attractions & Points of Interest map gives you the big picture of Mount Royal and describes the many sights to see in the park and elsewhere on the mountain.
• Learn about the mountain’s history, territory and challenges in the section dedicated to Mount Royal and find out more about its nature, heritage and issues!
