Access to Mount Royal: Imagining a Future Inspired by Landscape Connectivity

Les amis de la montagne, in partnership with the McGill Schools of Architecture and Urban Planning, invite you to a public forum on innovative repurposing of roadways to ensure the safety for different types of users by strengthening landscape connectivity.

On Tuesday, October 30, at the McGill University Bronfman Building, three experts in mobility, urban planning and landscape architecture will discuss how new strategies can be integrated in a global vision of accessibility and mobility for Mount Royal.

This forum aims to inspire, enrich and stimulate the reflection on the future of Remembrance / Camillien-Houde. It has been four months since the City of Montréal implemented a pilot project blocking vehicular through traffic on the Remembrance / Camillien-Houde axis. Until the end of November 2018, the public is invited to imagine the future of these access roads to Mount Royal Park and share their vision during the hearing of opinions held by the Office de consultation publique de Montréal.
