Free Puppet Shows

Casteliers sur l’herbe performs original puppet shows for kids and parents looking to spend a pleasant afternoon together next to Beaver Lake.

Is Your Family up to the Challenge?

Take advantage of some quality family time to rediscover the Mount Royal Chalet and Beaver Lake!

In the Mount Royal Chalet rally, children will have fun getting to know Elzéar the squirrel and completing his challenges. See the welcome desk for information.

In the Beaver Lake rally, parents and kids have fun unravelling the mysteries of the park’s famous lake by answering a series of questions.
Climb Camillien-Houde on Foot or by Bike

The Cyclovia family event is the perfect time to discover Camillien-Houde Way with family members! On Sunday, August 19 and October 7, between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., the road will be reserved for families wishing to walk, run or cycle up to Mount Royal Park.

From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Les amis de la montagne will host a booth near the Smith House bus stop and provide information on biodiversity, geology and conservation.
Forest School on the Mountain

Les amis’s nature immersion program provides a fun and unique way for youngsters ages 9 and under to reconnect with the natural environment through hands-on learning, creativity and play. Young nature lovers explore Mount Royal and learn about its protection with seasoned instructors throughout the seasons.
