The Mountain in Pictures: Winners of the 2018 Edition

For the 9th year in a row, we invited amateur and professional photographers to submit their best pictures of Mount Royal in our annual photo contest dedicated to the mountain!
 
​Photos were entered in the following categories:

• Art and architecture
• Life forms on the mountain
• The mountain in action (sports, leisure, celebrations, etc.)
• The mountain in black and white
• Youth vision of the mountain (for participants under 18 years old)
• New! Instagram category​

2018 Winners

Over the course of the summer and fall, we received more than 300 gorgeous pictures from more than 200 seasoned photographers. Jury members had their work cut out for them! After much deliberation, they made their picks and winning photos were announced at an awards ceremony at the Beaver Lake Pavilion.

Winners took home several great prizes including a two-night package for six in a ready-to-camp at a Sépaq location, afternoon tea for two at the Rosélys restaurant, a free pass to our all guided excursions and a dinner for two at the Café des Amis at the Beaver Lake Pavilion.

Winning photos are also on display in the Mount Royal Chalet until May 2019.
