Holidays at the Chalet 

From December 21 to January 5, Les amis de la montagne adds a festive touch to the Mount Royal Chalet with on-site animation and various activities for families between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Experience Snow Tubing

Is sledding one of your favourite seasonal pastimes? No need to leave the city to enjoy this classic winter activity! Mount Royal’s snow tubing lanes let you experience this classic winter activity in a beautiful natural setting.

Take a Spin on the Skating Rink

Take advantage of the refrigerated ice oval next to the Beaver Lake Pavilion to test your skating skills before warming up with a coffee or hot cocoa by the rink. Skate rentals on site. Hit the Cross-Country Ski or Snowshoe Trails

Mount Royal features 22 km of cross-country ski trails and 3 km of snowshoe trails to explore at your own pace. Possibility of renting skis and snowshoes on site. Getting Active Is a Walk in the Park

Follow Olmsted Path to admire the changing landscape and magnificent vistas of Mount Royal Park in the winter. With a little luck, you might also spot winter birds at the various feeders located along the way and on the summit loop.  Playing Outside Works Up an Appetite
