Everything You Need to Play Outside this Winter

This year, the pandemic is forcing all of us to stick to our respective bubbles and explore nearby outdoor spaces to clear our minds and stretch our legs. What better place to do this than Mount Royal! Les amis de la montagne operates a rental service for skates, cross-country skis, snowshoes and snow tubing that lets you enjoy the mountain. Now all we need is snow!
New service points to better serve you
In accordance with directives issued by the Government of Quebec, several health measures are implemented to help limit the spread of COVID-19. In order to provide a safe service in accordance with public health measures, rentals take place at different areas in the park:
Thanks to an initiative of the City of Montréal, children aged 4 to 17 benefit from free rental of snowshoes and cross-country skis! This offer is available to Island of Montréal residents only. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Details here.

- Skate rentals: ground level of the Beaver Lake Pavilion
- Ski and snowshoe rentals: reserve online
- Snow tubing: kiosk at the foot of the snow-tubing hill
- Snow carpet rentals: Smith House or Les amis trailer in parking lot next to Pavilion
