Chapeau Mont Royal! Has a New Headliner

It is with great pleasure that Les amis de la montagne welcomes Diane Lanctôt as the honorary president of the 5th edition of the Chapeau Mont Royal! benefit event.
This chic and gourmet luncheon, which celebrates the hat in all shapes and sizes, will take place on June 14 to raise funds for educational programs on Mount Royal.
An accomplished businesswoman, Ms. Lanctôt is president and owner of Lanctôt Ltée, a firm specializing in the distribution and production of major sports apparel, and owner of Canadian Hat and Harricana, two renowned Montréal fashion houses. Juggling various roles as a manager, speaker on women's leadership and honorary chair of charitable events such as the Leucan Ski Challenge, she also sits on several boards of directors.
For Ms. Lanctôt, there is no place like Mount Royal to enjoy nature and the great outdoors in the city. Her attachment to the mountain stems from the many years she has been running or cross-country skiing on its myriad paths and trails. Chapeau Mont Royal! is the perfect opportunity for her to show her affection for the mountain, while celebrating the 100th anniversary of Canadian Hat and its original and distinguished millinery creations.
